I am one of those 62 million users, but I am also one of the untold number of inactive users. That is the important number. The number of active members seems to be a question Google is uninterested in answering.
This Forbes 30 Under 30 smacks of lazy editorial. First, there are 360 people covered here, not 30. Second, these people are not even ranked from least disruptive/innovative to most. Third, these categories are totally undifferentiated: “media”, social and media”, technology”, “music”. I thought music was media? What’s the difference between the “Media” category and the “Social & Media” category? And for that matter why isn’t “Social & Media” part of “Technology”. There are also a separate categories for “Science” and “Energy.” It’s as if nobody editorialized this list.
